Struggling with the Juggling
As things open up more and more, many of you have shared with me that you are struggling with the juggling: school drop-offs/pick-ups; kids activities; teen-jobs; pets; vets; COVID tests (still) and Dr/Dental appointments. I hear you. You are not alone. I too, on more than one day last week, spent 5 hours of my day, driving kids around.
As our routine returns back to pre-pandemic normal, there are some immediate impacts on our bodies and minds. If we are honest, our sitting posture--particularly while spending hours on screens and/or driving-- is not optimal. This directly impacts our energy levels and our state of mind.
On an energy--prana--level, we are frequently deficit spending---energy going out to tend, befriend and nurture vs. taking "me time" to refill the emotional well.
Invest time to make time with an asana and pranayama practice that reinvigorates you. You need "you-time."
This is a non-negotiable.
