Happy Merry Everything

Dear One,

We are in the home stretch of 2022.

My daughter, Lotus, was reminiscing about Xmas 2021 and how she had to clandestinely pick up the tiny kitten to surprise us with on Christmas morning.

Eric still can't believe that was just ONE year ago! It seems like that crazy cat, Jazz, has been part of the fam, and farm, for much longer. What an action-packed year it has been!

We also welcomed AJ, the 25-year-old retired therapy horse that I adopted in January. In May, we adopted Daisy, our first indoor free-ranging rabbit, from the Berkshire Humane Society. She loves to cuddle with Bear.

And speaking of Bear, he was my June foster-fail puppy that was too incredible and sweet and loving to imagine adopting out. So we kept him and he perfectly rounds out our “six pack” of dogs!

 So, it has been quite a year, and that's just on the animal front!

We are heading to the Dominican Republic right after Christmas to celebrate my dad's 85th birthday with my WHOLE original nuclear family, and their families. 24 people spanning 4 generations in total.

 I feel so grateful.

I will be unplugging and taking off during that time.
