In Memoriam
Dear Yogis,
As a yoga therapist and Ayurvedic health counselor, my main lane is to offer coaching and instruction in these areas. In addition to my goal of helping people either prevent injury or get them out of pain, I'm also focused on those elements of yoga and Ayurveda, which promote physical, mental, emotional, and nutritional health. Ultimately, I agree with the consensus that if these are healthy and balanced, then spiritual strength and undertakings have a solid foundation.
I continuously strive to stay focused in my weekly newsletters on my areas of passion and expertise. I'm passionate about yoga, in particular Katonah yoga and Ayurveda. I work hard as a lifelong learner to acquire knowledge and skills to pass on to those seeking.
I tell you this because I had to fight hard to not take advantage of my humble platform to express my deep sadness about the recent killings in Buffalo, NY, and Uvalde, TX.
I had to control my desire to bombard your email box with my rage against the NRA and other forces that prevent sensible gun laws in our country. So I have made this a separate posting that you can access by clicking here, then you may choose to read my thoughts.
Appropriate to my lane, this week, I'll offer you practices to keep ourselves sane and balanced so that we can continue to do the excellent work you do in other areas of your lives. So very many in our group of practitioners are doing beautiful things that contribute to the good of humanity. So if the yoga and counseling that I provide help you to do that better and in a more energized and equanimous way, then I've done my job.
So much love,
Kari
