Bounty of the Harvest

Friends,

I spent last weekend basking in the glorious Berkshire Fall weather.

Plus, it was my favorite weekend, the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival. Every year I become inspired to start knitting (again.) Two years ago, I promised Eric I would make him a scarf for Christmas. Lucky for me, I didn’t tell him which Christmas. :)

I am always amazed at the bounty of artisans and what people can create with their hands. The wool, the felting, the knitting! All in cooperation and care of raising and managing their own flocks of goats and sheep. These people are hardcore, and every year, I am in awe. Ewe would be too. :)

It’s been a busy time of creating for me as well. Tiger and I just wrapped up our first annual week-long content creation intensive. I just made up that title, but suffice it to say, we planned and filmed a lot of wonderful yoga and breathing videos for y’all. We also did two photo shoots, for Instagram, Tic Tok and promotional materials, and I’m so excited to get the proofs back. Will keep you posted on those!

In addition to the regular subscription tiers for the platform, we have made bundles for specific areas that may interest students and teachers. For example, there is a therapeutics bundle for low back pain, a migraine/tension headache grouping, and an Oxygen Advantage breath training package.

I am also thrilled to be back leading weekly in-person yoga workshops at Kripalu. In addition, from November 11 to the 13th, Larissa Hall Carlson and I will lead an in-person “Yoga for Insomnia” retreat at Kripalu. It runs from Friday evening until noontime Sunday, and it can help everyone, regardless of sleep efficiency, settle in well for a long winter’s rest.

Taking advantage of the bounty to harvest so much goodness.

Wishing you all health and wellness.

with so much love,

Kari
