May Musings from the Farm

Friends,

It's been a busy couple weeks here on the farm.

Spring finally arrived just in time for my birthday on the 5th, and we have been going full steam ahead ever since.

Last week, Eric began his "restoration project" on the barn: replacing rotten wood and fixing headers and mechanisms.

I was moving animals around to accommodate the construction work being done and preparing the garden for our planned expansion; I increased it by 50%, so we needed to lay down more compost (good thing we make our own here at Fair Meadows Farm!), had 7 yards of organic topsoil delivered over the weekend and got half of the garden planted.

It is so satisfying to eat food that you have grown yourself. Creating the space, ensuring the soil is optimal to grow the best food possible, tending, weeding, and cultivating a garden to nourish your body and mind.

Being out in nature and gardening also tends to the soul.

I am excited about the growing season and our capacity to cultivate more.

I spent winter hunkered down, planning the expansion of my yoga business and doing the necessary work to launch a new partnership in Spring.

We are so excited for this next season of growth, with many offerings for you to optimize your body-mind and uplevel your Wellness.

Tiger just recorded a workshop on The Inner Workings of Pranayama, explaining the mechanics and chemistry of the ancient practice of Breath Work. A great balance of lecture and practice with real-world tools and tricks to train your nervous system and test how functional your breathing is. You can get the recording here.

We have two featured workshops coming in June.

See below for details on each.

I am heading to London today-- a combo Valentine's and Birthday week-long trip with Eric.

Wishing you all a week filled with nourishment and love,

Kari
