Like Gangbusters!

Friends,

In January 2021, during the pandemic and amid a problematic personal transition, I remembered writing, tongue in cheek, about what a "challenging year January" was. The month seemed endless and an endless uphill climb.

Two years later, we are still dealing with a pandemic, but this month has flown by and is packed with busyness and business.

I have shared with you that I am in the midst of deep work for my yoga business and working on diverse collaborations and exciting projects.

Upon returning from vacation, I went full steam into 2023.

Many of you know that I am not one for self-promotion. In fact, I'm detrimentally bad at it; however, as a business owner, I am trying to put myself out there more.

I wholeheartedly believe that what I offer brings health and healing to many, so I share with you today some of my personal wins this past week, the fruit of many months (and years) of my labor.

This past week, I was a guest on the "Breathe Well Be Well" podcast. Hosted by Perrin Whyte, we had a lovely conversation about breathing and how to begin a breathing practice by understanding how you breathe. Of course, we talked about Ayurveda. You can listen to the episode here.

Additionally, I am the feature teacher spotlight for ripple, the yoga clothing company I love. We are collaborating now so you can enjoy a discount on their organic cotton brand. Women-owned and ethically sourced, I have been wearing their clothes for years. I am particularly in love with the jumpsuits. ;)

You can see the feature here.

As a yoga educator, mother of three, and caretaker of 30 animals, I appreciate the difficulty and importance of managing my time for various engagements.

Time was precisely the topic during last week's Katonah workshop based on Nevine Michaan's magic calendar, with all its nuances.

I want to thank all of those who attended and also thank you for your positive feedback. You can still purchase the workshop and calendar or just the calendar.

Overall, this has been such a positive week. With enough energy to spare, I am ready to finish planning for the upcoming week. I am happy to share the incredible wisdom and insights of Nevine and the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Please join me this week for another workshop with Larissa.

Intro to Ayurveda: Part II

Thursday, January 26th, 2-4pm

Register here to attend live or watch the recording.

In this workshop, we go deeper into the doshas and how to stay balanced and healthy daily, seasonally, and through the different stages of life.

Wishing you all a gangbuster sort of week.

with so much love,

Kari
